Radio ARA is an independent community radio station, produced by professionals, volunteers and associations. Our shows reflect the diversity of Luxembourg society and we offer a public service to a large number of communities, broadcasting in many different languages and offering music diversity. We are working harder and producing more, with multi-lingual NEWS programmes, more multilingual shows and more independent journalism that reflects the lesser known stories and issues in Luxembourg.
Running a radio station costs money: technical equipment, admin staff, rent, etc. Digital advertising hit us hard, as did the pandemic only the financial donations from listeners kept us going
