Orchester de la Place de l'Europe

Music is about sharing, regardless of the age and level of its performers. True to this affirmation, the Philharmonie Luxembourg will bring together 80 amateur musicians over the age of 18 to join the brand new Orchester de la Place de l'Europe, under the direction of Benjamin Schäfer.

After selection, they will meet each week in a friendly atmosphere to prepare a final concert in the Grand Auditorium of the Philharmonie. The one for the 2021/22 season will be dedicated to Antonín Dvořák's majestic Symphony No. 9 "From the New World".
