Despite Luxembourg’s multilingualism, many parts of society still lack representation in traditional media. For over three decades, Radio ARA has been giving diverse groups of society a platform to voice their opinions, to share their stories and become visible. Our shows reflect the diversity of Luxembourg society and we offer a public service to a large number of communities, broadcasting in many different languages and offering music diversity. We are working harder and producing more, with multilingual news program, more multilingual shows and more independent journalism that reflects the lesser known stories and issues in Luxembourg.
Running a radio station costs money: technical equipment, admin staff, rent, etc. It is only thanks to the huge commitment by volunteers and donors that ARA can stay on air.
