What is Inclusion in the Workplace? ... inclusion is defined separately from diversity as “the achievement of a work environment in which all individuals are treated fairly and respectfully, have equal access to opportunities and resources, and can contribute fully to the organization's success.” But how can an organisation achieve this? By imposing top down programmes for all employees, or encouraging initiatives that are built up by employees who feel invested in what they are trying to achieve? Not surprisingly perhaps Vodafone has gone for the latter approach.
