The 63rd Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles last night and there were a LOT of awards on offer so first we’ll start with a quick rundown of the highlights.
Taylor Swift won her third award for Album of The Year for Folklore, making her the most successful female artist ever in that category.
Beyonce won four awards on the night bringing her number of total awards to 28 which makes her the most successful artist, male or female, in the history of the awards. Her daughter Blue Ivy, who is just 9 years old also won a Grammy. She has a writing credit on Brown Skin Girl which won Best Music Video.
Billie Eilish won Record of the year for Everything I Wanted and Harry Styles picked up the gong for Best Pop Solo Performance for Watermelon Sugar.
Fiona Apple won Best Rock Performance for Shameika and Best Alternative Album for Fetch the Bolt Cutters while former Alabama Shakes front woman Brittany Howard won Best Rock Song with Stay High.
The Strokes proved they’ve still got it with a win for their recent album, The New Abnormal in the Best Rock Album category.
