Tracy Heindrichs was in the studio for Delano's Top of the Week today. On the agenda was a discussion about Luxembourg's National Mental Health week.
National Mental Health Week occurs once every two years and is part of the government’s efforts to raise awareness around mental health, prejudices, and stigmas, but also disorders themselves and how to deal with them as a person, family or society. This time around its slogan is “my health, is also my mental health”.
Throughout the week, there will be all kinds of workshops held around the country, with audiences ranging from kids to teens to adults, looking at the topic, at the body and mind balance, but also how covid impacted MH and how to identify and deal with it. Large institutions and companies like the Grand ducal Police or Post Luxembourg are also participating with workshops.
