On Local Matters this week, we focus on scams in housing. We had Lily Zorich in our studio, she told us about her experience with scammers during her search for a flat. Tenants though also should be careful when signing a rental contract and when leaving an apartment. Often, landlords find reasons to not reimburse the security deposit or ways to trick the tenants into illegal obligations.

For today’s interview, Navid Poushanchi joined us on the microphone. He is a legal advisor for the Luxembourg consumers’ union (ULC). He explains the rights of tenants and the rights of landlords, landladies in a rental contract. He tells us what people should be careful about.
