Marion Dubois from Passerell joined Tom on the Breakfast show this morning to talk about the organisation as they search for new volunteers to assist in their work supporting refugees and asylum seekers in Luxembourg.
Since 2016 Passerell has provided asylum seekers in Luxembourg with legal support and advice. As well as advocating for women and children's rights, and Lobbying the government for improvements and reforms to the asylum claiming process, they provide those claiming asylum with information such as how to appeal a declined application.
The company currently only has one full time employee and relies largely on donations to operate. Furthermore, they depend on the work of volunteers to provide this important service which is in high demand.
They are currently calling out for any vounteers with skills in Legal work and communication/social media to reach out and get involved. More information can be found at their website www.passerell.lu
