Alain from CLAE, Ady El Assal and Jess Bauldry joined Tom in the studio this morning to talk about the 39th edition of the Festival Des Migrations.
The festival, which takes place across March, April and May in different locations around Luxembourg is a celebration of movement of people, of culture and ideas.
Having previously taken place as a standalone event that ran over three days at the LuxExpo centre in Kirchberg, the festival has now switched formats and will take place on multiple dates in separate locations. This years programme includes, discussions, conferences, film screenings, poetry slams, concerts, masterclasses, comedy and a bazaar.
Ady El Assal is a Luxembourgish Film maker who will be giving a masterclass in film making during the festival. Jess Bauldry is a comedian who will be performing stand up. Both of these events will take place on trains that will bring attendees on a journey through Luxembourg, embracing the Festival's theme of movement.
The Festival is free to attend and more information about the programme can be found at festivaldesmigrations.lu/
