Duncan Roberts from Delano Joined Tom in the studio this morning for Delano's Top Of The Week. Up for discussion was Asteroid Day which will take place on the 30th of June.
Asteroid Day as observed annually on 30 June is the United Nations sanctioned day of public awareness of the risks of asteroid impacts. Its mission is to educate the public about the risks and opportunities of asteroids year-round by hosting events and providing educational resources.
This year members of the public can attend educational and social events including panel discussions on the opportunities presented bz exploiting Asteroids for their mineral content, a meet and greet with astronauts and a "space cafe" networking event with members of Luxembourg's space industry.
