Saran Buckingham from the Ireland Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce Joined Tom on the Breakfast Show this morning to introduce our listeners to the organization and its activities and to highlight a couple of their upcoming events.
The ILCC was started in 2012 to support the introduction of individuals and businesses to each other in Luxembourg. The ILCC aims to develop links with other Irish Chambers, business groups, the international Irish corporate network and relevant bodies in Ireland.
They organise a regular calendar of formal and informal networking opportunities to meet and share experiences, ideas and network businesses and promote Ireland as a trading partner, a location for investment, research and development, education and high technology and as a tourism destination, within the business community in Luxembourg.
On the 10th of June they are hosting a tour of the Chambre des Deputes in Luxembourg City. The tour will be hosted by a sitting member of parliament and will be followed by canapes and refreshments. On the 20th of June Irish Minister for European Affairs, Thomas Byrne T.D., will address the Ireland-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce on Monday 20 June, on the eve of the meeting of the EU General Affairs Council in Luxembourg.
Tickets and more info about both events can be found at: www.ilcc.lu/
