For weeks, it hasn’t rained in Luxembourg. Farmers are frightened by the impact this drought is likely to have on their crops, firefighters are busy combatting all these small bushfires on top of their usual work, and the nature as well is suffering from the lack of rain. In our interview on Local Matters, Claudine Felten, forest engineer for the nature protection foundation natur&ëmwelt, tells us about the impact that the drought has on our forests, ponds, and the fauna who live in these habitats.
