Time for Equality is an organisation that acts for the promotion of equality, inclusion and social justice in Luxembourg by hosting cultural events aimed at raising awareness around issues of inequality. This morning Rosa Brignone joined Tom on the Breakfast Show to talk about the organisation and discuss their upcoming film screening of 'Exit' by Australian director Allison Jayne Wilson which is taking place tomorrow evening at Rotondes.
Time For Equality has been active since 2013 with the aim of contributing to a better and fairer society built on a culture of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, equity and justice. The screening of Exit is taking place as part of their "Expressions of Humanity" series of events that are held in collaboration with Rotondes to use the power of arts and human stories to raise awareness of social and human rights issues.
Through a survivor’s lens EXIT tells the story of three women who were looking for a way out of extreme poverty and found themselves at the heart of human trafficking networks. It is a story about what it means to be trafficked for sexual exploitation, about the damage it causes and the extreme difficulties faced by those women who try to get out for good.
The screening is taking place at 18.30 tomorrow 28th of March in teh Rotondes Theatre.
