Interview with Marianne Donven from Chiche!

Marianne Donven - one of the co-founders of the Chiche! restaurants - spoke to Simon about the origins of the project and its success.

Started by friends who wished  to create a social restaurant, Chiche! fosters social inclusion by empowering women and men from here and elsewhere through work.
Their objective is to hire people of all origins that have a hard time finding a job but who have fabulous skills. They believe that this project will allow their workers to regain self-confidence, to develop social and language skills, and that they will enrich Luxembourg with their energy and culture in the years to come.

​What started as a temporary venue in Hollerich has now found three locations in Limpertsberg, Esch and Leudelange. A fourth Lebanese restaurant with the usual cozy vintage decoration,has now opened in Bonnevoie.
