Whereas universities in many countries offer carriers in gender studies and studies on feminisim, in Luxembourg, these topics are still very understudied. This is why in 2020, the Laboratoire d'Études Queer, sur le Genre et les Féminismes (LEQGF) was founded. Three researchers from three different disciplines joined forces to create the collective and to put an effort into promoting research on gender related issues.
This month, the LEQGF is going public. To make gender studies accessible to everyone who is interested, they edit a brand new publication called “Cahiers QGF”. The first edition will be published this month. In our interview on Local Matters, Sandy Artuso, researcher and member of the Laboratoire, tells what readers can expect from this publication and which other activities the LEQGF has been involved in.
