Mateo and his dad Pedro share a common passion: They both are captivated by Pokémon. For years, they have been competing together. Although Pedro has way more experience though, 27 years to be exact, his 7-year-old son Mateo has already become more successful than his father. Mateo is Luxembourg's most successful Pokémon player. As one of Europe's top 15 players, he is invited to the Pokémon world championship in Japan in August.
