Madeleine Yougye from One People ASBL

President of the the One People ASBL - Madeleine Yougye - joined Simon and the Breakfast Show team to talk about Black History Month which takes place throughout October.
Black History Month is dedicated to celebrating, recognizing and commemorating the history, culture, achievements and contributions of black people around the world.


Black History Month aims to raise awareness of the black experience, highlighting the challenges they have overcome and those they still face, the struggles for equality and civil rights, and their contributions in various fields such as arts, sciences, politics, sports, literature, music, and many others.
