The association One People asbl is hosting Black History Month this month, organising plenty of conferences, panel discussions and cultural events. Behind the scenes, One People has been working on anti-discrimination policies with the ministry for family affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees. Every day, racist incidents happen in administrative procedures, during the job hunt or the search for housing. For Local Matters, Franziska interviewed Madeleine Yougye and Yolande Messina from One People about discrimination during the search for housing.
