Responsing to the challenges women face in male-dominated careers, training centres and job coaches have developed programs to empower women. Many of those courses aim at boosting women’s self-confidence to thrive in a men’s world. In our interview, Julia Khalyavkov argues that sometimes it should be the other way around: men should become more like women, at least concerning overconfidence. In Julia’s experience, women are often more realistic in evaluating their skills and take their responsibility more seriously.
