As part of the 8th edition of the European Month of Photography Luxembourg, Cercle Cité on the Place d’Armes is hosting the Rethinking Nature exhibition. The exhibition makes a break with what is referred to as the landscape genre. By upsetting the point of view and the framing, which no longer respect the centuries-old Euclidian perspective, the five artists showcase representations that open up new micro and macro natural spaces.
Using dematerialisation, deconstruction and fragmentation, their photographic artistic approaches express in unique ways the vulnerability of nature and humanity's current conflicts in relation to it, while contributing to developing ecological awareness.
