Jose Gonzalez is no stranger to Luxembourg or its more unusual venues having previously played at the Cathedral Notre Damme as a part of the Siren’s Call festival so it’s fitting that he appear at den Atelier’s latest venture Pond Eclectic based at Amphitheatre Park Kirchberg, Rue Léon Hengen Luxembourg.
The Swedish singer, also known for his work with the band Junip, has been forging his own path since the release of his debut solo album, Veneer, in 2003. His last record Vestiges & Claws was an award winning and critically acclaimed journey in to what it is that make Gonzalez tick.
As for his latest album? Well we don’t exactly know yet. It’s set to be released about two weeks after he plays here. Its lead single, “El Invento”,(below), is his first ever Spanish language release which points to his Argentine heritage and Swing (above) give us some hints but those lucky enough to get their hands on tickets should get a real preview of what else he has in store.
