Catherine Krettels from the Cinémathèque in Luxembourg City came by Ara City Radio today to talk about the upcoming programme and the '11 Must See Movies' retrospective that has been happening in the cinema over the course of January.
After a successful first edition of 'Must See Movies' in early 2020 and a cancelled edition in 2021 due to the pandemic, Cinémathèque is proud to present this year’s edition of 'Must See Movies' a retrospective run of screenings showing their pick of 2020 and 2021's most critically acclaimed films. Screenings have been running throughout January meaning most have already happened but anyone interested in attending can still catch 'The World To Come' on the 25th, 'Emma' on the 27th and 'Saint Maud' on the 31st.
In February and March programme highlights include a retrospective on the films of Jacques Demy and a Thematic run focussing on Dance in Cinema.
