On today's breakfast show, Tom spoke over the phone with Charlie Winston ahead of his headline show at Den Aelier on the 5th of September.

Charlie Winston is a singer song writer from Britain who interestingly found major success in the French music market. His debut album 'Like a Hobo' saw him shoot to fame and tour extensively around France. When Tom and Charlie spoke on the phone, Charlies's 5th album 'As I Am' had just come out and the pair discussed the state of mind that Charlie was in whilst writing the songs on the album.

'As I Am' is a record about changing paradigms and finding new energy in your life to understand yourself and interact with the world with a positive energy. Its an album influenced by Charlie's experiences with chronic back pain and the tiring life of a touring musician which he, at one point, was ready to give up.

Charlie Winston brings his newfound energy to Luxembourg when he plays with a new band at Den Atelier on the 5th of December.
