On Local Matters this week, we’ve invited some Luxembourg residents who commit their time and their effort to politics and combats abroad. On Tuesday, we had Aljaz Pengov on the microphone who just keeps blogging about Slovenian politics on his blog Slepping with Pengovsky, although he has been living in Luxembourg for two decades. Yesterday, Solmaz Jodairi Saber told us about her activism against the regime in Iran, and how she feels about not being there to support her people.
Today, for the last piece of this week, we talk about Ukraine. I’ve invited two people in our studio. Philippe Schockweiler is a journalist from Luxembourg. Since Russia invaded Ukraine in February, the Luxembourgish journalist Philippe Schockweiler keeps travelling to Ukraine to report about the war, the live, the people. Just last weekend, he returned from his last mission, and today, I am happy to welcome Philippe Schockweiler in our studio. He is our second interview guest today. Before, we hear what the association LUkraine has been up to lately, with vice-president Inna Yaremenko. Inna Yaremenko is the vice-president of the association LUkraine.
