Homelessness: The Red Cross calls for owners to rent their properties

The past week, it was freezing cold in Luxembourg. So good for you if you just ignored the energy prices and put up the heating. Some people can’t. Hundreds of people in Luxembourg live on the streets. On Local Matters this week, we will see how they manage to stay warm and where they spend the night. The Red Cross have recently launched a call to house people. The Red Cross calls for house and apartment owners to rent their property to those who are in need of housing. The owners make a rental contract either with the tenant, and have the Red Cross as a guarantee, or they make a contract directly with the Red Cross.
