Siren’s Call Festival is back for its 4th Edition in Luxembourg City on the 25th of June.
Co-programmer of the festival Michel Welter joined Tom in the studio today to talk about the the festival’s return after a covid-related two year gap and to run us through the line up of this year’s edition.
The festival takes place in the beautiful setting of the Grund in Luxembourg City across multiple venues including the theatre and courtyard of the Abbey Neumunster and the Melusina. The programme also encompasses a craft market, yoga workshops, food stalls and kids programme.
Highlights of this years programme include rising Luxembourgish electronic/synth-pop artist Chaild, hot-prospect UK-based hip/hop artist Priya Ragu, exciting young band from Belfast, Enola Gay, who will play the closing set of the festival in Melusina and UK rockers Nothing But Thieves who return to Luxembourg after previously selling out Den Atelier.
Headlining the Festival are Swedish garage-rock royalty, The Hives who have a long love affair with playing in the Grand Duchy and who recently blew the roof off of Den Atelier when they performed a sold-out show there when lockdowns lifted back in November.
