Local Matters: Female migrant workers

Local Matters this week is about working conditions and wages. Exploitation through work is particularly problematic for immigrants, those without papers, as they encounter difficulties defending themselves. Jessica Lopes works as a consultant for Asti and she is a strong voice for women’s rights in Luxembourg. At the association Journée international des Femmes (JIF), she represents the Asti. We had Jessica on our microphone to talk about the working conditions and other problems of female migrant workers.
