On Local Matters, we talk about work this week, about wages and working conditions. These have been particularly difficult for independent workers in Luxembourg during the covid-19-pandemic. Many independent workers lost all their clients from one day to another without any ways to compensate the financial losses and little help from the government.
For our interview, we had Daniela Moraru on the microphone. She is founder and director of the institute languages.lu. To offer language tutoring, translations and other services in relation to languages, she mainly works with freelancers. In our interview, ahe tells about her experiences during the pandemic and about the struggles for her teachers and for herself, as an independent entrepreneur.
