Cidalia Monteiro has a Portuguese sounding name but she doesn't speak Portuguese and she doesn't look like a Portuguese. Since she arrived in Luxembourg as a kid, her Cape Verdean origins have caused quite some confusion - at least for the others. Cidalia knows where her roots are.
On Voices Matter, she tells about her first experiences in Luxembourg and what ties her to her birth country, even more than 40 years after she left.
This month, Voices Matter has teamed up with the Black History Month. We invite black voices to speak about what it means to be a person of coulour in Luxembourg nowadays.
