After last week’s Whamaggedon, the European music charts fell prey to Mariahpocalypse, too. Not unexpected, but still troubling. Be that as it may, we’ve got ten new tracks all over the EU this week, though some are not really new as such.
The late great Shane MacGowan is understandably back at the top of the Irish charts with the Pogues and the Fairytale of New York. There’s also new stuff in Poland, Greece, Romania and even Portugal, where Inigo Quintero was finally removed from the top spot by Slow J.
Top of the EU Pops features on Ara City Radio every Monday at 11 am. In case you missed it, here’s this week’s playlist. Give it a spin and share it with friends!
