ACL Knowledge Bites: Experience the Future of Mobility

This podcast is a paid partnership with ACL.

Go Electric Day 2025 invites the public to explore electric mobility through hands-on experience. The event takes place on 19 October in Lacock, Quebec, and is organised by the ACL as part of its Knowledge Bites podcast series. It aims to answer practical questions about electric transport in an accessible way.

The day targets both current electric vehicle users and people still considering the switch. Visitors can learn about electric cars, bikes and motorcycles, as well as charging options, maintenance, insurance and financing. Information is central, but the focus lies on direct experience rather than theory.

Test drives are available on selected routes, allowing participants to feel how electric vehicles perform in real conditions. Exhibitors present different models, offering insight into current and future mobility trends. The programme also includes activities for children and families, making the event suitable for all ages.

Beyond mobility, the setting encourages people to stay, talk and explore. Food areas and open spaces create a relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. Go Electric Day 2025 presents electric mobility as something concrete and approachable. It offers a chance to discover how everyday transport choices may change in the coming years. More details and the full programme are available on the event website.
