Interview with Astrid Scharpantgen from Europa Donna

Simon was joined on the Breakfast Show by Astrid Scharpantgen, cofounder of Europa Donna Luxembourg, the breast cancer coalition.

Astrid spoke about the invaluable work Europa Donna Luxembourg does to improve supportive care to help patients better manage the side effects of treatment.

Astrid also talked about the forthcoming Broschtkriibslaf, a 4km solidarity race taking place on Saturday, October 1st in the park of Hesperange.

Women, men and children, in teams, with family or friends run and walk to show their solidarity to those who are fighting or have fought against breast cancer.

The funds raised are used to improve supportive care to help patients better manage the side effects of treatment.
