Volunteer repairers are available to assist you with fixing a variety of items: small to medium household appliances, clothing, bicycles, toys, dishes, small furniture, and more. D'Bréck : the bridge between locals and expats

Access to Rights
Passerelle is a non-profit Luxembourgish association recognized as being of public utility since September 2023, active in the defense and exercise of fundamental rights for vulnerable people in Luxembourg. Marion specifically joined this association from France. Working with homeless people and individuals in vulnerable situations has always been her interest. The majority of their work involves assisting vulnerable migrants and refugees. Learn more about their results in our interview.
Romanian Parents Association
Legal professional in Luxembourg but highly engaged in social and educational endeavors. Elena’s goal was to introduce Romanian traditions and culture to Luxembourg and ensure that children do not forget the Romanian language. The services of their weekend Romanian school are dedicated to children as young as three years old. They were eager to create a space for kids who speak the same language to learn about the origins of the country and build a community around it. Mamie et moi - an intergenerational tie
Mamie et Moi aims to “foster intergenerational ties in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in order to strengthen solidarity between generations and optimize living together in a context of cultural and generational diversity. Thus they work to “build bridges”, to “find bridges” which allow people to meet and get closer. In practice, this means setting up meetings in the form of workshops, which facilitate the transmission of knowledge and know-how between seniors and younger people but also between people from different cultures.
