Passerelle is a non-profit Luxembourgish association recognized as being of public utility since September 2023, active in the defense and exercise of fundamental rights for vulnerable people in Luxembourg. Marion specifically joined this association from France. Working with homeless people and individuals in vulnerable situations has always been her interest. The majority of their work involves assisting vulnerable migrants and refugees. Learn more about their results in our interview.
Romanian Parents Association
Legal professional in Luxembourg but highly engaged in social and educational endeavors. Elena’s goal was to introduce Romanian traditions and culture to Luxembourg and ensure that children do not forget the Romanian language. The services of their weekend Romanian school are dedicated to children as young as three years old. They were eager to create a space for kids who speak the same language to learn about the origins of the country and build a community around it. "In November 2015, a group of 9 Luxembourgish volunteers joined a relief convoy to the Balkans to actively help people escaping from their home countries. Afterward, the motivation was even greater to continue, fueled by further demands from others wanting to help as well. Vegan Society
The Vegan Society promotes the development of veganism in Luxembourg and Europe by educating about the benefits of veganism on animal rights, climate change, and our health. Barbara UJLAKI fell in love with the vegan lifestyle even during her time in Tokyo, then joined the VSL to promote veganism and reduce animal suffering. Mamie et moi - an intergenerational tie
Mamie et Moi aims to “foster intergenerational ties in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in order to strengthen solidarity between generations and optimize living together in a context of cultural and generational diversity. Thus they work to “build bridges”, to “find bridges” which allow people to meet and get closer. In practice, this means setting up meetings in the form of workshops, which facilitate the transmission of knowledge and know-how between seniors and younger people but also between people from different cultures.

ROMLUX is a Luxembourg-based nonprofit, that pioneers economic ties between Romania and Luxembourg. This time we spoke to Razvan, who revealed the start of the Romania Luxemburg Business Forum Asbl. The emotional impact of trauma
The damaging effects of trauma can lessen a child’s sense of stability and self-identity, leaving lasting scars that persist into adulthood. This can lead to feelings of guilt and shame, feelings of disconnection, difficulties in managing emotions, heightened anxiety and depression, and bouts of anger. Marise Hyman, Self-growth & Relationship Coach (Somatic-Trauma-Therapeutic approach), Workplace-wellbeing and resilience Trainer, and also Preconception-Prenatal-Parenthood Doula, joined Djulieta’s show to help us understand how to identify if we are the result of any traumas and shared some tips on how to start working on it.
