Festrogen festival spotlights female identifying comedians and provides training for aspiring comedians through workshops.
The festival kicks off with an advanced workshop on the 8 October hosted at the Cid Fraen an gender women's library. This will be followed by an open to-the-public open mic at Le Croque Bedaine. At 9pm the hosts of the festival will perform in a Comedy Gala.
The following day Festrogen does brunch and laughs as Funny Women finalist Anshita Koul performs her hilarious solo show A Little Too Much at Le Mirador, Monte de Clausen.

Interview with Astrid Scharpantgen from Europa Donna
Simon was joined on the Breakfast Show by Astrid Scharpantgen, cofounder of Europa Donna Luxembourg, the breast cancer coalition.
Astrid spoke about the invaluable work Europa Donna Luxembourg does to improve supportive care to help patients better manage the side effects of treatment.
Astrid also talked about the forthcoming Broschtkriibslaf, a 4km solidarity race taking place on Saturday, October 1st in the park of Hesperange.
Women, men and children, in teams, with family or friends run and walk to show their solidarity to those who are fighting or have fought against breast cancer.
The funds raised are used to improve supportive care to help patients better manage the side effects of treatment.
Interview with Biffy Clyro
Biffy Clyro touch down in Luxembourg this weekend to headline the Rockhal. Ahead of the gig, Tom caught up with Ben from the band to chat about what it’s like headlining festivals next to your heroes, being between albums and the bands future plans.
Biffy Clyro are in a great place right now. After releasing two albums during the pandemic and finally being able to tour again without restrictions it seems like the world is their oyster. This summer they headlined download festival in the U.K. alongside Metallica and iron maiden.
Without the pressure to release new music imminently, the band are relishing being able to get back on the road and play gigs that have by now been postponed and rescheduled up to three times.
With all that in mind, their show on the 25th of September at the Rockhal is sure to be an electric gig.
